Step 1: Enable the connection
⚠️ Submit this form to enable the CreatorCommerce team to connect your GRIN account to your CreatorCommerce account.
Step 2: Update/create your Activations
- Go to the GRIN dashboard
- Go to 'Activations'
- Create a new Activation, or click into an existing one
- Add the prefix "CC //" to the beginning of the internal name of your activation
CreatorCommerce will sync with creators added to activations that contain this prefix.
Step 3: Update/create your affiliate code groups & affiliate link groups
For CreatorCommerce to sync the relevant affiliate codes & affiliate links per creator, you need to add "CC //" to the beigging of the affiliate code group name and affiliate link group name.
Why is this step needed? In GRIN, creators can be associated will multiple discount codes and affiliate links, and the addition of a prefix in combination with the given activation makes it clear which link and/or code CreatorCommerce should associate sales to.
Step 4: Setup the redirect for your related affiliate link group
You can issue creators any affiliate link structure you'd like, and they can even keep their current links they may already have. However, to ensure that consumers are redirected to the correct end result, you'll need to add the following URL to the 'DESTINATION URL' slot for the related Affiliate Link group:
https://drops.shop/grin/redirect
This will push the shopper into the relevant shopping experience for the given creator, and CreatorCommerce will handle getting them there from here. All GRIN tracking and UTMs will be preserved with this action.
Step 5: Go-live
With these steps complete, you should now be live. This means your emails will automatically send whenever you add new affiliates to relevant activations. Additional recommendations at this point are to promote the offering via a manual email campaign to existing customers, on social media, and to let any customer communities know as well.
