How to integrate Shopify Collabs with Klaviyo through Shopify Flow

To use Klaviyo to invite and communicate with your affiliates, you'll need to make sure that Shopify Collabs is keeping Klaviyo profiles updated along the way. This is where this guide comes in handy. It will take you through a quick process to add Shopify Flows that sync Shopify Collabs affiliates with Klaviyo.

Download Shopify Flow, if you haven't already

Shopify flow is a free tool in the Shopify App Store, that makes it easy to setup ad hoc integrations. Shopify Collabs requires the use of Shopify Flow to perform integrations, so it is a requirement to complete this guide.

Upload the CreatorCommerce flow templates for Klaviyo x Shopify Collabs

Click here to download the flow templates for updating Klaviyo with newly approved affiliates and for updating Klaviyo with new tier assignments
Once downloaded, go to Shopify Flow, and click to "Import", and "Add files"
Upload & import both "CC__Export approved applicants to Klaviyo.flow" and "CC_Export tier assignments to Klaviyo.flow" from your downloads folder

Obtain your Klaviyo API key

Go to Klaviyo
Go to "Settings"
Click "API keys"
Copy your "Public API Key / site ID" which is a 6-digit alphanumeric code

Setup the flows

Go to back to Shopify Flow
Go to click into "CC // Export approved applicants to Klaviyo"
Click "Edit"
Click "Track Event"
Replace "XXXXXX" with your Klaviyo Public API Key
Click "Turn on workflow", click "Turn on"
Repeat for the "CC // Export tier assignments to Klaviyo" flow

Expected result

When both flows are enabled, whenever an affiliate is approved or has a tier updated, the latest discount code and tier name will be posted to Klaviyo. This will be included in the properties of a profile.
