Brand HelpKlaviyo Integration

How to setup the primary Klaviyo flows

March 1, 2024
Setup your primary Klaviyo flow to invite your creators to launch co-branded shops with your brand's products. If you use Klaviyo, this should be completed before going live.
⚠️ This guide can take up to 30min to complete. To complete it, submit this form to enable the CreatorCommerce team to provide you with the email templates.

Before getting started, ensure that you've setup the integration with your affiliate/influencer marketing software(s). This will be needed to email contacts that are affiliates in those platforms.

To get affiliates/influencers/partners to launch co-branded shops with your brand, they first need to become aware of the opportunity. While there are other strategies you can leverage for issuing invitations, your primary Klaviyo flow will drive most of your adoption, and is extremely important to enable before updating your relevant programs/tiers for CreatorCommerce. The article will walk you through setting up this flow in Klaviyo. If you don't want to read it and would rather get some hands on support, you can make a request for the CreatorCommerce team to do this for you here.

Step 1: Get the email template

The CreatorCommerce team will provide you with the email templates and flows the correspond to them. Fill out this form to get them.

Template contents

  • Brand Logo/Header - Set to your brand logo
  • H1 Title - Showcasing main topic of the email
  • Body Copy Section 1 - Set the main message of the email
  • CTA/Button - Set to the main CTA such as the onboarding link or shop link
  • Body Copy Section 2 - reminder copy
  • (Optional) Promotional/teaser Image - Shows off what a shop looks like - Contact us to get one for your brand

Pro tip: When you get access to the templates, be very careful about any {{ variables }} you edit.

Step 2: Understanding the email flows

CreatorCommerce will provide your with 8 email flows. This will take you through what each flow is for, why affiliates enter each one, and how they leave each one. Make sure to review each for yourself in your Klaviyo, and make edits where needed. These flows will be "production-ready", and can go live after your review.
