Connect the Simple Affiliate Integration

Sync your Simple Affiliate creators into CreatorCommerce using a Shopify Flow, then route their affiliate traffic to co-branded storefronts.

This guide walks you through connecting Simple Affiliate to CreatorCommerce. Once set up, your Simple Affiliate creators will automatically sync into CreatorCommerce, and their affiliate links will route shoppers to personalized co-branded storefronts.

Prerequisites

Before you start, make sure you have:

  • CreatorCommerce installed on your Shopify store
  • Simple Affiliate installed and active with at least one group configured
  • Access to Shopify Flow in your Shopify admin (available on all Shopify plans)

Step 1: Download the Shopify Flow File

  1. Download the Simple Affiliate sync flow file: CC — Simple Affiliate Sync.flow
  2. Save the .flow file somewhere easy to find on your computer. You'll upload it in the next step.

Step 2: Import the Flow in Shopify

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Settings → Shopify Flow (or search for "Flow" in the admin search bar).
  2. Click Import and select the .flow file you just downloaded.
  3. Shopify will load the flow and show you its structure. You don't need to edit the flow logic — just one configuration value in the next step.

Step 3: Add Your Admin API Token

The flow requires a Storefront API token to read product and collection data from your store. If you already have a Storefront API token:

  1. Open the imported flow in Shopify Flow.
  2. Find the field or variable that requires a Storefront API token.
  3. Paste your token into that field and save the flow.
Don't have a Adm API token? No problem — reach out to the CreatorCommerce team at help@creatorcommerce.shop and we'll either set it up for you or send you the token to paste in yourself.

Step 4: Enable Tiers and Destinations in CreatorCommerce

Once the flow is active and running, your Simple Affiliate creators will begin syncing into CreatorCommerce. Now you need to tell CreatorCommerce which groups to activate:

  1. Open CreatorCommerce in your Shopify admin.
  2. Go to the Collaborations tab.
  3. Click on Destinations.
  4. You'll see tiers that map one-to-one to your Simple Affiliate groups. Select the tiers you want to enable.
  5. Once enabled, co-branded storefronts will be created for the creators in those tiers.

Step 5: Set the Redirect URL in Simple Affiliate

The final step is configuring Simple Affiliate so that affiliate link clicks route through CreatorCommerce's redirect, which serves the co-branded storefront experience.

  1. In Simple Affiliate, go to your group settings for each group you enabled in the previous step.
  2. Set the default destination URL to:

https://your-store.myshopify.com/apps/cc-storefront/redirect

Replace your-store.myshopify.com with your actual Shopify store URL.

Repeat this for every Simple Affiliate group that you've enabled as a tier in CreatorCommerce.

What Happens Next

With everything connected:

  • The Shopify Flow runs automatically and syncs your Simple Affiliate creators into CreatorCommerce.
  • Each synced creator gets a co-branded storefront based on the destination you configured for their tier.
  • When a shopper clicks a creator's affiliate link, they're routed through the CreatorCommerce redirect and land on that creator's personalized storefront.
