When you need to get a creator started, you can send them an invite/onboarding link that signs them directly into CreatorCommerce. This article covers how to copy that link from the dashboard and when creators can retrieve it themselves.
Before you copy the link
The creator must be in a valid Destination. CreatorCommerce does not consider a creator “active” unless they are assigned to a Destination, and the invite link will not resolve correctly without one. If you’re unsure what Destinations are or how to configure them, read Connect a destination first.
Copy the invite link from the dashboard
- Open the Collaborations table in your CreatorCommerce dashboard.
- Either click the action menu on the right side of the creator’s row, or click into the creator to open their profile.
- Use the Copy invite/onboarding link action.
- Send the link to the creator by email, SMS, or any channel you prefer.
When the creator clicks the link, they are automatically signed in and dropped into the correct onboarding or dashboard experience — no password required.
Let creators retrieve the link themselves
Instead of sending the link manually, you can also set up self-service access so creators get in on their own:
- Klaviyo integration — Send bulk invite emails with a one-click sign-in button. See Getting started with the Klaviyo integration.
- CC customer account block — Deploy the customer account block in your Shopify storefront so creators can sign in through your store.
- Embedded sign-in integration — If CreatorCommerce has an embedded sign-in with your affiliate platform’s portal, creators can enter directly from there.
Troubleshooting
If the link is missing or greyed out, confirm the creator is assigned to a Destination. Creators without a Destination won’t have a working invite link.
That’s it — once you’ve copied and shared the link, the creator can sign in and start onboarding immediately.
